According to this article in the Express, the answer is yes - we are no 10 on the map.
Out on Green Lanes, you'd think there was no such thing as a pandemic happening....

I agree Maddy Green Lanes is just always way too busy with people seemingly oblivious to the virus. If what Costa says about Beans and Barley is correct it should have been shut down! I am very worried about how complacent people have become because I really don't want to experience another lockdown
An update from Haringey Council and Dr Will Maimaris, Director of Public Health at Haringey Council, giving context to this discussion:
“In response to recent news reports of a “spike” of COVID-19 cases in Haringey, Dr Will Maimaris, Director of Public Health at Haringey Council, shares the message below, to reassure residents of the current situation of COVID-19 cases in the borough.
It is vital that statistics are taken in context, and we are concerned by news reports which seem to be designed to scaremonger.
We have no community outbreaks of COVID-19 in Haringey. The overall number of cases is very low (around 1 new case a day on average), so overall risk of being exposed to COVID-19 in Haringey is still low and much lower than other parts of the country.
“There is always some fluctuation in case numbers from week to week, but this is from a very low base and within the realms of what we would expect. We will continue to monitor the situation.
“While it is reassuring that that the number of new cases of COVID-19 continues to be low in Haringey, we must ensure we work together to keep it this way, by following public health guidance and acting with care and caution as we support our local businesses and schools to continue to open up.
“Today we published our draft local COVID-19 outbreak management plan for Haringey [<-- LINK]. This plan outlines how Haringey Council will work with other agencies and other parts of the public health system to prevent and manage local outbreaks of COVID-19.”

The Guardian has now managed to get hold of the Pillar 2 data for England, which confirms that the biggest problem is not in London:
"In total, there are 47 English local authorities where there are more than 10 cases per 100,000. In a further sign that the disease has shifted away from the capital, not one of these 47 areas was in London"
Here's their graphic of weekly rate of coronavirus cases per 100,000, using Pillar 1 & 2 data, week ending 25th June:
FYI, Sky have now taken the data & made a page where you can find out rates in English local authorities.
The week before last Haringey had 2.59 positive tests per 100,000 people (which presumably means 7 positive tests in a Haringey population of 270,000). This makes Haringey number 111 in the English league table.
Just been over to Laurels Clinic. Driving back along Green lanes and Wood Green High road.
Majority was Not wearing mask and social distancing was a total Joke
I could count on the fingers of one hand the number of people I see wearing masks round here.
It is nothing short of scandalous the way this has been permitted; to withhold health information from the general public in the midst of a pandemic with the aid of an alliance with privatised health services. The NHS is forced to work with it's hands' tied behind their backs.
The whole nation has been cummingsed . He admitted he made plenty of mistakes during his statement in the #10 Rose Garden, well this is a whopper! He is a public menace.
One metre plus means one metre plus a face covering, but there is nothing in place to enforce this and make it illegal to go out without a face covering let alone inside shops, after the further relaxations coming into force on Saturday.
Add in yesterday's carpet-baggers charter announced by the 'Boris' and we are all stuffed (unless you are a carpet-bagger with an account in the Cayman Isles. Note how sanctions for anyone on JSA and the levelling-up-down came into effect today.
No one Government / Party can please all the countries Electorate
Keep seeing the Prime Minister and Government Blamed for issues
I would be the last person to support many measures carried out by current Government
But please explain how can one Man deal with every issue that is currently going on
As a retired Civil servant, I am well aware how instructions and rule books can be dealt with
Reason the current Government is trying to sort out the Nations Civil Servants In the hope that in future they will carry out Ministers instructions and Not play Political games in the process
You are so correct, but this particular government is a "Cummocracy" - one rule for it's mates, another one for everyone else. "I make the rules, so I can break them". A key part of democracy is to allow scrutiny,("blamed for issues"), don't you agree?
A key responsibility of government is to protect it's citizens and it needs to show by example that it is not above the law. When they have got the governance sorted, then they can promote change, but the basics need to be in place first.
The scandal of creating a system where a firm of bean counters is responsible for collecting data about infection during a pandemic, rather than trained professionals, and not making it available to local public bodies & the general public is a dereliction of duty. Not enforcing face coverings in shops but only issuing guidelines is not in the interest of public health. Look, there's a statue over there!
Oh, and BTW this government does not have the popular mandate of the citizens of the UK & NI. In this, it mirrors the current administration in the USA.
Surprised bookmakers were allowed to open mid-june
They should have been last to open up alongside pubs ect.
These places attract homeless peple, druggies ect and they mix with the average gambling folk
Hi please also considering signing up for the Kings College app. https://covid.joinzoe.com/
They have almost 4 millions users registering their symptoms and test results and can spot outbreaks early, even before testing. They are collaborating with others to share their data and spot and respond to outbreaks.
