Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Has anyone used it yet?

Took me a moment to find it as had to access from Fonthill Road and not anywhere near the main bus station.

I have seen an article about it being opened and step free, not sure if I missed a lift but had to go down the stairs.

I do not quite understand the point of the entrance where it is now - other part of entrance blocked by building works so you actually have to go to Fonthill Rd and access from there which from the bus stop is pretty much the same as if going under the bridge and using the old entrance.

Bit puzzled - was hoping to avoid going under the bridge (from the Stroud Green side) and have various things dripping onto my clothes/head and save a minute or two with the new entrance but this seems to be pointless if I have to walk all the way to Fonthill Rd.

I thought the new entrance was supposed to be closer to the main bus stop on Stroud Green side, perhas I was wrong.

I think they’ve opened this for residents to use when the flats/cinema complex or whatever it is on fonthill road have been built. That was my thinking.
I do miss the old back entrance, it was a great drop off and pick up spot

YouTube has videos showing where the lift access is. Agree the old entrance was very conveniently cheek by jowl with the bus stops. The longer walk will give more 'footfall' past the 'retail opportunities' when they arrive...

The building works for "City North" are still going, so the direct route to Wells Terrace is not yet open - TfL say it will open in Spring 2020

- though the photo on this tweet makes it look like it might be sooner than that: https://twitter.com/larkingrumple/status/1207993517580210181

I haven’t used the new entrance yet, but the lifts are in the passage that also connects to the train platforms, not the one that only serves the tube.
