Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Crime Concerns from New Neighbour in Lothair Road South
Hi everybody
We are moving to Lothair Road South and were wondering if anybody has any information around how safe the area is, particularly at night. We have looked at crime stats online and Endymion Road looks like a real hotspot (which is slightly worrying) but we're not sure if that's just linked to crime from the park.
Does anybody live nearby and have any experience to share?

I think you'll find that Endymion Road crime is mainly what happens in the Park.
There has been a spike of robberies in the Park, but it's mainly at night. All of the Ladder roads are pretty much the same and whilst, like most of London, it's not a crime-free, I've never felt unsafe.

I have friends in Lothair Road South...whenever I've visited it's always been quiet. The Beaconsfield is on the corner and there are a few who pee in the street on their way home. Whilst that is a bit unsavoury, I have never felt unsafe there. I think it's quieter than the ladder roads.

Welcome to the neighborhood! We've lived in Venetia Road for 6 years and it feels very safe. I certainly don't feel worried about crime compared to anywhere else we've lived in London. We wouldn't use Finsbury Park itself when it's dark, but Endymion Road itself is generally very busy at all times of the day and night and so feels safe to me.
