The police are staying fairly tight-lipped about the incident at the moment but their coded language leaves little doubt that they think the incidents are gang-related.

The duration of the Seven Sisters Rd closure (~0000 - 1600 on the day after) suggests an extended/intensive search for evidence.

No wonder the scene I witnessed on the 10th coming back from work at around 7h40 cycling down Endymion Road, 3 guys who had just left their vehicle on Tancred Road were chasing a car with iron bars, the car ended up driving up Endymion Road but on the wrong lane full of traffic by squeezing between the cars going down and the pavement (thankfully I had already gone pass that stretch of the road going down and no other cyclists were hit)...

Looks like the two events could be related.
