Options for the park
There are several proposed options for the park, these proposals cover issues around safety and security, traffic management and priorities for the future improvements of the park. The proposals are outlined in more detail in the Consultation document below. In summary the proposals are as follows:
Locking the park
Removing benches by Finsbury Gate
Relocating the American Gardens children's play area
Park security - installing CCTV
Increased lighting
Introducing a Public Spaces Protection Order

There are, happily, some pointed questions about disallowing cars inside the park.
Which could result in all the cars parking in Lothair North, south, Venetia, conningsby and tancred as they are the only rds on the ladder that have no weekend parking controls..
Thanks for flagging this up. I have filled it in. As someone who does use the park fairly often I would like to see quite a few improvements made
There were a couple of new gates for Finsbury Park proposed during the Green Lanes Area Transport Study: option PC-06, one at the north east corner opposite Homebase, and another at the junction of Alroy Road with Endymion Road; unless I missed them I don't think these are mentioned in this latest consultation?
