Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Earl Haig Hall, Elder Avenue, Crouch End

I was told yesterday that the Earl Haig Hall has been sold and will be closing on Thursday 10th January!  No idea at the moment who the new owners are or whether or not it will continue as a pub/venue.

What a shame - it's a great place to have a drink and hang out in Crouch End, reasonably priced and usually not crowded (which may be why it's closing...) I thought it was in 'community ownership' of some kind.

It was owned by Antic pubs who still seem to be going strong. Not sure why this one was released.
