Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Last week I was cycling north on Seven Sisters Road and ahead of me saw another cyclist either come off or get knocked off his bike on the junction with Moreton Road (just before the junction with St Anns road). I was too far behind to see what caused him to come off. As I got closer I shouted to ask if he was alright but he was already getting back on his bike and cycled off.

In the middle of the road was what I thought was his water bottle so I picked it up and cycled like mad after him towards Seven Sisters station. He was VERY speedy and I couldn't catch him. Probably in his 20s or 30s.

Thing is I've just looked back in my bag and it's not a water bottle, it's a storage bottle with what looks like pretty valuable cycling equipment inside.

I'd like to reunite the cyclist with his things – please let me know if you know anyone who had a minor incident on that bit of road last week and with a description of the items I'll get them back to them.

Thanks!

Can you hand it in at the police station? I guess maybe they are too busy to be bothered, he probably went back to look for it. Very tricky

I know, that’s what’s frustrating me – if I knew I wouldn’t catch him I’d have left it on the pavement for him to come back for! Thanks for replying. I probably over egged the value of the items but if someone’s looking for  them I wanted to make clear I’d got them safe!

Hi, do you still have the item? I can post on some North London cycling facebook groups if you like, if he is fairly speedy he may be a member of a cycling club so I can put the feelers out.

Hi Emma, yes I do! That would be great if you can! Thanks x

I've posted in a few groups so I'll let you know if there are any bites :-)
