Hi All,
Just wanted to keep everyone informed about a recent break and enter to our property between 19:30-19:50 on Halloween. After handing out candies to the children we decided to step out to grab a takeaway. When we returned I had noticed that our front sash window was wide open. They had used a crowbar to open the main sash window! Given the small window of time it appears that they were scoping the place out in advance and had seen us leave. The police were great, however the suspect used gloves (no prints!). Hope no one else was targeted, but do make sure to be extra cautious when leaving your home.

Yah she said adrenaline kicked in and she’s fed up with these people getting away with it
Holy Christ. Good on her and incredibly brave. Also speaks volumes about the cowardly vermin trying their luck on homes in our neighbourhood. It’s quite astonishing that it makes rational sense for someone to break into someone else’s home, grab whatever is of value, make off with it and go through the trouble of monetising it somehow - sell, barter, whatever. It takes a particularly naive or desperate person to do this.
