Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Just walking down the hill as workmen clear the barriers and cones. Temporary traffic lights still in situ though - some bikes of the motor and push variety are now proceeding down regardless.

For any cyclists they haven't swept the road so beware the new tarmac and the detritus on the way down the hill.

And so the traffic chaos ends(...!)

Woooohooooo. Thanks for the info.

Thanks Dave, phew good to know - what a hoo-ha it has been but at least all safe now

I am afraid not. TFL informed me that works are scheduled until 27th November. No reason. No apologies for the inconvenience and you may have noticed works often are unattended.

Passed it today and per Gordon's post, the roadworks have gone and normal 2 way road traffic has been resumed. I'd also seen a similar date but not sure why TfL would be commenting with authority as I don't think this is a TfL road? In which case they'd just be relaying the information they'd had from Cadent.

... the traffic chaos won't end... until people give up driving...

Of course - it caused me huge amusement that after getting to a point where traffic was diverting around the work fairly smoothly, as soon as it was announced the road had partially reopened it was back to gridlock...

The scene today  -   all clear.     @Lu

Thank you Gordon. I saw it had been cleared yesterday morning. I am bemused by TFL wrong advice though (?). Pleased it is over.
