Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Used and unused Needles, Harringay Passage
Absolutely disgusted to encounter these Needles on Umfreville Road this morning.
If you have kids, please be careful - issue has been reported.

There have been reported sitings of needles left in Fairland Park as well. Seems this problem is back again after years of not being such an issue. One for the LCSP, police, council and Veolia.

The byproduct of brazen drug dealing and unchecked antisocial behaviour up and down the borough. It does seem like things are deteriorating. Not a day passes without encountering unpleasant, addled or downright aggesssive individuals on the high street. Has it always been this way? Every time I come back from work I experience a mild cultural shock on getting out of MH tube. We came here feeling this is a safe, family friendly neighbourhood. It does really wear one out when you come across stuff like this (or more commonly, the result of generous amounts of human excrement post-use.) yuck.

Has it always been this way? It has not. The only needles you were likely to find in my day were if someone's auntie dropped their knitting bag and I am being deadly serious. Harringay has changed beyond recognition from the place I grew up in.

This summer I’ve found hypodermics and on one occasion a discarded sharps box in our front garden on Burgoyne. I step up from the usual lager tins and 1/4 bottles of vodka.
