The Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy, the Woodland Trust and Sainsbury’s are giving away 24,000 free trees by ballot to Londoners.
The trees will be field maple or birch – species suitable for gardens and great for wildlife. All can be kept fairly small.
You’ll need to apply by 5 November. Then you’ll be entered into a London-wide ballot to win one of the tree packs. The winning entries will be selected at random from all Londoners that apply.
If your name is drawn, your pack of two saplings will be sent to you by the end of November.
Apply here.

I actually signed up to this this week, fingers crossed I win. Do you know if it’s one entry per household? Thinking my husband could apply too
Thanks, just signed up
