Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

This female black & white cat called Bastet has been reported as lost since 26th June from N4 area. 19 years old, small and she has white chin. She talks a lot and is quite agile for her age. No collar. She may have got out the front door by mistake. Please lookout for her.

Update - Bastet has been found.

Fortunately her owner had sensibly got her neutered and microchipped. (Hopefully owner has contacted microchip company and checked that they have owner's correct contact details). Any vet will scan a found cat for free to check if microchipped so that owner can be contacted.

His owner has put details on Animal Search

Animal Rescue charities like The Scratching Post recommend that it's vital for cats to be neutered and microchipped. Adult cats enjoy catflap access to a back garden - and cats need a catflap access to get back inside their home. They advise locking the catflap at night so that cats are safe inside at night as it reduces the risk of them getting lost or injured.

Someone posted about finding a female black and white cat on Harringay Ladder Parents facebook group. I've replied and pointed them to this post.
Actually, sorry to raise hopes, the found cat was described as "young" whereas I see this one is 19.

Thanks a lot Helen. Well you never know, this cat Bastet is described as agile and small, so age can be deceiving. Best thing is to compare photos and markings. Hopefully they will take found cat to a vet to be scanned to see if microchipped.

I saw a cat like this cat by the Finsbury Pub yesterday.

Thanks Helen and Maria. Good news - Bastet has been reported as found on 9th July.
