I saw a man walking up and down the banks of the new river this morning at 8am, for about half an hour. The sections that run through the houses on the Harringay Ladder are not accesible by home owners or the public, with 7ft high metal spiked gates locked at either end of each sections.
The man was in his 30’s, dressed in dark boots, dark jeans, black hooded coat and a dark grey flat cap. While by the river, he was throwing sticks for a large white and tan pitbull (or similar), while using his phone.
Was he casing the exposed properties that run along the river? Was he taking photo’s with his phone? Why didn’t he go to Finsbury Park 10 mins away? Why did he go to the effort of getting over a tall, spiked metal gates (twice) with a large dog, just for a bit of easy pet exercise?
I called the Police on 101 and registered the incident with the following ref: CAD174911APRIL2018
If you see anything similar, please let them know.

Hi Nicholas, Whilst I applaud people doing anything to look after their neighbourhood and look out for their neighbours, because HoL gets hundreds of thousands of views each month, it's very important to be careful about identifying individuals under circumstances where they are potentially being accused of wrong-doing. It's useful to put people on alert, and thank you for that, but your photos have been removed.
