The new permit prices are about to come in on 3rd April. I've just ordered a bunch - hopefully they wll still be valid for a couple of years at least.

I believe the day permit will cost the same, but hourly rates have more than doubled to 80p and there will no longer be 2-hour permits.
Thanks - have they confirmed whether the old ones are still valid?
I don't think they'd be selling them if they aren't going to be valid.
Thanks Maddy. Our permit was due for renewal on 10/4. Having read your post I've just snuck in under the wire and saved us over£100. Remind me I owe you a drink!
Great! Unfortunately my annual permit runs until June, so I'll get hit with the higher charge...
There were over six hundred responses to the consultation on these charges. There was a change from the original proposal in that the permits will remain valid beyond the year originally proposed. Concessions remain for people 65 and over and the all day permit prices remain the same. So far, so good! But where CPZ hours are longer - like Harringay, Wood Green, and most of Tottenham - people will be paying relatively more and that was pointed out in the responses. II responded, making this point, as your ward councillor.

Don't know about annual permits (I'm a non-driver), but there's certainly a discount for visitor permits. Need to register with proof of eligibility first before buying online.
You get 50% off the voucher price if 65 or over. I think you also get discounts if disabled.

Hopefully the attention people have given it here helped. With 4,000 views on the discussion in February, it certainly seems to have been of interest.
