Is Harringay an Arsenal area or a Spurs area or split down the middle? Maybe it depends what end of the Ladder you are. Would be interested to know. I'm Spurs, my neighbour is Arsenal, and I see people wearing scarves of each walking towards Turnpike Lane tube on respective match days.
p.s. I'm not asking about Galatasaray and Fenerbahce!

I grew up in Tottenham so I’m a Chelsea fan. Harringay is definitely Arsenal.
I grew up in Stoke Newington in the late 70's & 80's back then it was very much a 50/50 split even tho it was slightly closer to Highbury, I live at Manor House now & I think there's more arsenal than Spurs and its been that way since the back end of the 80's although I think its slowly changing like the fortunes of both clubs. these things often come full circle, I'm sure the kids in the playgrounds are more likely to pretend to be Harry Kane than anyone in the Arsenal Squad just like the generation before would probably imagine themselves as Henry. If Spurs do start to win trophies over the next few years then you'll probably see more kids wearing the kit but I think at the moment arsenal still have the edge. btw I'm Spurs!!
Going slightly off topic but still football there's a really good mixed (male/female) football session for complete beginner's every Monday night at Skinners Academy by Manor House Tube It's very social and lots of fun! Also I run Men's 6&7 aside Leagues near Finsbury Park & In Stoke Newington if anyone is looking for a game!
Manor House is definitely Arsenal but that makes sense as it’s much closer. At the Turnpike Lane end of Green Lanes it’s roughly half way between the two. Based on kids around the parks in football shirts around here I think you’re right that it’s heavily Arsenal, though I’m reliably informed by a colleague with two 8 year old nephews that Kane and Dele are the playground legends now.
Sunderland
Sporting Club de Schiltigheim. And Arsenal.
Sadly Spurs make little effort to promote themselves in the local community. I have yet to see a young person wearing a Spurs top in Tottenham though you see many wearing an Arsenal top
Saw one young kid wearing a Spurs shirt at Priory Park on Saturday - good on him! There were more in Gooner shirts though... I don't know about 'promoting themselves', I think it's as simple as winning matches, winning trophies and having players kids identify with. Arsenal have had more of that in the post-Lineker/Gazza years but in the last 2-3 years things look to be reversing.
