Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Newish Cafe - Opera - Green Lanes - Tried it and loved it

So many lovely cafes to choose from now in Green Lanes but Opera is gooood, Today, I had a perfect eggs benedict with spinach and coffee (which was served beautifully. Do visit and enjoy. Last year there was lots diff opinions but I think it is a beaut addition to our local glorious Harringay cafe culture - Crouch End, eat your heart out! They are not open on Mondays though.

How was the service Geraldine? That was our problem with the old Opera.

i cannot fault the service at all, they were friendly, helpful and prompt. i also had a takeaway burger for my husband which he (fussy man) wholly enjoyed. i think their chips (I tried his!) could be better though, but maybe I'm too fussy!?

Thanks Geraldine, it was the service we found lacking when we tried it last year, (part of the order forgotten, drinks arriving after the food) so good to hear it has improved, we will try it out!

It’s a good little place ... and for all those complaining about Turkish venues dominating the area - use it or lose it!!

okay, okay - vive la différence - much as I love french food, for instance, I am soo happy here in Green Lanes without it cos you know if we did have a nice new little french cafe here - alors, how much more expensive our homes might cost - c'est votre choix - be happy that we are not too trendy - turkish smirkish I say!
