Just had a flyer for this 'charity'through the door and it rang a bell so I looked them up.
Ah yes I remember now, they were identified as a 'dodgy' company by the Mirror

Yep, I got one too. It's now in the recycling bin.
Good one you for looking into it, I just lobbed it as I give clothes to other selected charities.

I've only ever left out clothes for one such group, Evergreen, normally I take stuff to the shops but this one with its 'terminally ill babies' angle and its insistence on flagging up its charity status even though it isn't, is a particularly shameless one that I wouldn't want to profit one iota from Harringay's generosity.

Another favourite by line is "provides employment for east europeans". So does buying a 6 pack of Lech or Tyskie.
