Christmas gifts for children - please advise where to donate

Have a look at Booktrust who are asking for donations to provide Xmas books to children in care

There is a thread here about local food banks but I'm not sure if they're running any kind of present giving schemes.

The Met police were doing a campaign for this too - although the deadlines have now passed but worth remembering for next year.

Thanks all for your suggestions, I contacted the food bank at Holy Trinity church and donated my Christmas gifts there.
