This small cluster of buildings stood close to the bottom of Muswell Hill until the 1880s. Closest to the camera is "The Pound"
The 1869 Ordnance survey map shows map shows this grouping with the pound clearly marked.
By the time of the 1893 map, all but the pound had been replaced with new housing (now 110 - 116 Priory Road). See the picture of the the pound linked above.
I believe that this was the cluster of cottages in the 1871 census, though I can't make out the name. Could it be Marks Cottages?
