Wood turner for a small job
Any suggestions or offers for a wood turner able to replicate an ornamental roundel on our staircase newel post. It was removed by the previous owner and I would love to replace it so it matches the other two.If somebody has a suitable wood lathe I would imagine it would be doable and I would provide the pattern and the wood cover the work involved. I have not yet received a reply BUT a few days later a lorry marked "Road Markings" turned up. I assumed that was quick action to remove the markings and turn them back to residents' use.
