A couple of trees bought the farm on Pemberton. The big one is a gonner, the Mountain Ash might be saved with a bit of effort, but I doubt it will be. I have been on to a friend who has passed this to the tree folks in the council.
I chatted with a lady opposite the big tree- until last night her car was under the tree. Another neighbour had a near miss as it came down, just missing him by all accounts...

As part of Haringey Tree Wardens, I'm able to report this directly to the Aboricultural Department.
Please report incidents directly to Haringey Council and post here if practical.
Please report any other trees than this by calling Haringey Council on 0208 489 1000
It's option 9 on the menu, then option 2
The Council have gotten reports about Ducketts Common - any photos please post here if practical.
46 trees fallen as far as the Aboricultural Department knows so far today (11:30am)
More than 70 fallen now (3:30pm)
Are they still falling or is this from this morning?
Sorry John I don't know - all we'll get is a list of when they were reported - doubt we'll know when they actually fell without being forensic. Some fall later than the initial push of course.
Looking at the weather, doubt if many if any fell after midday today.
And another came down on turnpike lane, landing on a bus, I think the road was closed for a while.
The Council are out there now apparently.
I think the Ducketts Common tree and the Turnpike Lane one are the same one.
Reported.
