Voter info -Registering to vote

To vote in the European elections your name must be on the electoral register. The last day to register in time to vote is midnight on 19 May 2009.

A voter registration form can be downloaded from the voting page, or contact the electoral registration team by email at elections@haringey.gov.uk or telephone 020 8489 0000.

Arrangements for postal or proxy votes

If you are unable to get to a polling station to vote or do not wish to, you may apply for a postal or proxy vote.

Applications for a postal vote and amendments or cancellation of existing postal vote arrangements must be received by the Returning Officer, Civic Centre, High Road, Wood Green London N22 8LE by 5pm on Tuesday 19 May 2009.

Applications to vote by proxy in this election should go the same address by 5pm on Wednesday 27 May 2009.

Proxy applications in the event of an emergency may be submitted up to 5pm on polling day.
