Yep, west green road.

Thanks! I'll check it out.

I've bought it from one of the butchers in the market in Wood Green in the past.

That's right by me, so I'll check here first. Thanks!

Have you asked in Baldwins? I am sure I have discussed it with them in the past. Would like to know when you do as I fancy making a goat curry at some point...

Me too! I've just come back from two months in India and goat curry is exactly what I am craving. I've emailed Baldwins and will let you know. Thanks.

Success! Baldwins do stock it and said if there is something in particular that I want to ring or email them and they'll prepare it for the next day. Curry, here I come! Thanks for the suggestion :)

I used to buy it in Baldwins for a friend who moved out to Cambridge and couldn't get it there! Presume they still do it...

No idea, but I noticed that Iceland now sell ostrich and crocodile.

If you can't get goat use mutton. It's much of a muchness.

"Mutton dressed as lamb" can be traced to the then Prince of Wales in 1811.

To whom and when may we attribute the saying "mutton dressed as goat"?  The Maharaja of Magador or the Akond of Swat?

Stroud Green Road near Finsbury Park, West Green Road, nearer the seven sisters end + there's a Butchers at the back of Wood Green, that's good, sorry I've forgotten the name of the road but a little browes and you'll find it...!!
