Just had this Haringey consultation questionnaire (about Wood Green and Green Lanes shopping centres) dropped through my letterbox. Get scribbling!

I have scribbled but it's a not a great questionnaire to be honest. Particularly irritating to be asked to respond to the statement "I feel safe walking ... at night" and only being able to choose between 'agree' or 'disagree'. Genuinely can't answer that - I often feel safe but sometimes I don't and I'd quite like to register that.

It's also the sort of thing where I suspect different people in a family would answer particular quite differently (well in my family anyway!) and it isn't possible to take account of that.

But I have filled it in all that same.
We copied it and did a response each.

I am glad that they have got as far as asking, it's a good start.

Since landing in London a few years ago at the bottom of the ladder and moved house a few years between there and Wood Green I have to say the whole area seems to have improved noticeably, at least in my opinion.

The exercise machines and improved facilities on Ducketts Common which are almost always in use are a great addition to the area.

Do not just tick boxes if at all! Write your open answers and detaialed comments on a separate pice of paper and send it in with the form. Haringey Council specialises in saying that it has "consulted" on an issue meaning they have printed questionnaires and received some answers or that they have asked a few people to participate in question and answers sessions. If the feedback doesn't match what they want they disregard it or change it.
