What are these plants?

I can get you come acanthus plants for £1.50 each if you like. A lovely lady who lives near my inlaws in north Essex grows loads of stuff from cuttings and sells them for £1.50. I have seen lots of acanthus for sale from her. She gives the money she makes to a local hospice in Essex. My garden is full to bursting with cuttings I have bought from her :)

Hi Sally, I'm going to have a seed swap (and cuttings) session one evening in the Salisbury. I'm sure that any gardeners that come might be happy to order some cuttings from your lady, as its for a good cause.

Hi - I suspect the second one is dogwood, not sure. The first one is definitely acanthus.
