Hi,
This is not happening for a first time, so I decided to raise it as an issue.
Several times the waste was not collected from Frobisher Road. I am not sure how many houses are affected, but this week I took a look and saw a lot of houses with full bins.
The Waste is supposed to be collected every Wednesday.
This week it wasn't. This is happening for 3rd or 4th time.
May I ask how is this possible?
It is very bad to see full bins of rubbish and the smell from them is not nice when outside is 30 degrees...
The attached pictures are from Thursday...

Hi Todor
I am reporting this to David Shipp, our ward enforcement manager and to Veolia. I hope you are reporting it too.
Please let me know what happens. My email is: zena.brabazon@haringey.gov.uk
Best wishes

Todor, waste believe it or not, is collected fortnighty so, not every week. Recycling is however collected weekly.
OK - this makes sense then.
However the Recycling was NOT collected this week.
I looked up in the Collection Finder:
https://www.veolia.co.uk/haringey/services-facilities/services-faci...
And it says this:
As you can see a month ago they also destroyed our bin when unloading the waste.
The bin haven't been replaced. As I said this is happening for 3rd or 4th time. Definitely for a second time for the past 2 months.
Yes your recycling & food waste should be weekly. From the info you posted your rubbish or general waste will be picked up this Wednesday 4th July. Yes in this heat fortnightly isn't ideal.
You have to order and pay for a new wheelie bin, they don't automatically do that.
Well, this is not very nice as I am not the person who broke it. Why paying for it than?
It was broken exactly after they collected the Recycling a month ago...I don't think that somebody will decide to remove the bin lid just like that...
No, it's not very nice but it's the system! You also have to pay if someone steals the bin. If you have evidence it was Veolia who broke it you might be able to get a free one...
My recycling was not collected but the garden waste was. I can never remember which week is black bin week but I'm guessing it wasn't due last week as ours is usually completely full after 2 weeks and it's only about halfway up now.
I have reminders set up so that I know which Wednesdays are recycling only and which are both recycling and rubbish. I also double check the published dates periodically.
Definitely have had two rubbish collections missed over the last 3-4 months. That means some kitchen waste has been sitting in our bins for almost a month...
