He sorted my washing machine on Friday, just the (low) call-out charge.  Admittedly it wasn't difficult to solve but I wasn't to know that.  No, actually it was Thursday, had been promised Friday but he came a day earlier.

Advice from JSG - to avoid a blocked outlet hose/drain, run a very hot wash without clothes every once in a while - always sticking to the ecological 30 or 40 degree wash allows detergent residue to build up over the years.
