Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Want to make Harringay Passage safer in the snow? Get your shovel out.... Sunday 5 Feb at midday.

A bunch of us are joining forces and doing our bit for the community at midday today (Sunday 5 Feb) to clear the snow on the passage so we dont all slip, slide and fall like last year.

Get your shovel, bring along some salt or grit and start with your closest part of the passage and come along to help.

See you there.

Where are you starting?

lovely idea but the snow is melting really fast so we are hitting the slopes of ally pally before it is all gone

You took the words right out of my keyboard.

I'm happy to do Falkland to Fairfax about an hour from now, but I'm just as happy to go with the flow. Just let people know what you're up to and where we're wanted.

As I live in Tower Garden.I did my bit cleaning the front of our house.ButI'm the only one in the whole street...

"Alle Jahre wieder..."

Wish I could...

If you see my cat Fuji in the passage let me know!

Right, done my bit ( a paltry third to half the Hewitt Seymour stretch). Have to do other stuff now. It looks like it's going to thaw. If not we can look at it again.

Many thanks to Adam, Chris and others who did a lot from Lausanne to Fairfax. And a big thanks to Homebase (and Liz, the manager) for giving us a generous discount on sand and rock salt.

I have spoken to the Council's out of hours service (under reference 584731) about the pavement in front of North Harringay and have been told that it will be gritted before school tomorrow morning.
