I'd recommend the Salisbury's if it's as good as it was when I last visited a few months back. Not the best roast you'll have ever had, but ticks all the boxes and has lots of tasty trimmings. The 'main event' is (I think) nut roast which I personally prefer to the pies or portobello mushroom abominations you get presented with in some restaurants, but YMMV. 

Does anywhere else in Harringay do roasts these days? I'm not sure there is anywhere else since the Garden Ladder went away, they used to do a Sunday lunch buffet.

Another good one if you don't mind getting down to Islington is the Island Queen - really good food.

Yes we went to the Salisbury and wife reports excellent nut roast. Indeed the whole meal was very well cooked with vegetables perfectly done.....

I second that! Had my first nut roast there last Sunday and it was lovely. I'll be going again!

I can testify to Karamel being outstanding! Amazing veggie (vegan) roasts on a Sunday plus club nights etc - all drinks veggie-friendly too.

The Westbury on Westbury Road is a two minute walk from TPL station & they do TWO veggie roast options on a Sunday. I prefer the mixed veg one rather than the goat's cheese one but they're both delicious & come with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding & everything for about £10. I had one this afternoon & it's always good :) I'm a big fan of the Westbury & I'm always surprised that it's not busier as the atmosphere, food & beer selection is great. I deffo recommend it!

The Westbury is fantastic.  I haven't tried the mixed veg one but I love love love the goat's cheese.

(also I quite like the fact it's not busier - no booking required even on a Sunday!)
