Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Can anyone please recommend someone who could come and prune an apple and a pear tree in our garden? They are huge, which means we cannot reach the fruit that they produce so would like to get them pruned for next season. Thanks

The best time to prune trees is in mid winter when they are moribund (asleep)
message me to talk about it
Steph. We have a pear tree in our garden and another overhanging our garden from a neighbour's. We have done our best to harvest what we can but there were loads at the top of the neighbour's that between us we could not get to- we found ourselves climbing the tree and shaking them out which damaged the falling pears sadly. That was until I discovered the magic that is the 'telescopic fruit picker' (google it). I just got one with a 4m pole and a nice little bag for the fruit to fall into. My wife is hoping mad as she is now sick of pears, but it was worth every penny!!! The same tool will also allow you to pruce the tree with the right accessories.
