Is this really what it has come down to. I mean I was explaining to the nice man in veola today, why would anyone want to pinch my green recycling bin. And then he reminded me that I would now have to pay £30 for a new one. The person who took my bin clearly knew when collections were as it was not long after it had been emptied and i had put it back in its proper place. What a load of toss. Why would i want to pay £30 just so it can be stolen again
So be warned, make sure you clearly label all your bins

no the night before, and I dont think they would have traveled that far, No i think it is probably very local to me, I mean why would you bother otherwise, but then i could be wrong,
Bin broken, landlord tells tenants they have to pay for a new one etc etc, best thing is grab someone else's which is empty and clean- heyho- result
Somehow I doubt very much if the troglodyte who stole your bin is likely to be looking in here...
I live on the Passage and was awoken circa 4 a.m. by someone dragging a green bin north from N4 to N8 a couple of nights ago. I thought it must have been stolen -- why would someone be moving one of these other than from a front garden to the street?
