Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Anybody else using Three noticing a marked deterioration in the local 4G data signal, speed often slowing to almost a slow crawl,  and occasionally stopping altogether?  I notified Three via their website and received this unhelpful response:

:::::::::::::::::

We’re fixing an issue with our network in this area

We’re sorry for any disruption you experience. Our engineers are working on masts nearby, which means the rest of our network is handling more traffic than usual.

Updates on our work will be posted here. We’re working as fast as we can to build a better, stronger network in your area.

You can find more help and advice below. And you can read more about our Big Network Build here.

This message has been unchanged for months now, except that the 'update' date is always the current, er, date,

I'm locked into a contract which looked like good deal, unlimited data, text and calls  but is now utterly pisspoor on delivery. Anyone else in the same situation?

I am on Smarty, which used Three's backbone. Have not really notices as I am mainly on wifi, but I do feel it is not that great where ever I am when on the network!

Expect All Networks are currently working overtime to keep services running

I am on Three and not having issues in Noel Park area

I was told they were aware there was an issue and it would be resolved at the end of September.

It hasn't been but I've not got round to going back to them yet.

This just in. Three have now said they will send me a new 5G SIM which will solve the problem. They had previously said my existing 4G SIM would be 5G ready. Watch this space...

When Three upgraded me that sent a New sim which stated it was 5g ready. Touch wood seems to be better

I called them this morning regarding signal issues, was told they've been working on a problem in the area this week (whether it's the same mentioned above I don't know). Works are due to be completed tomorrow. They ensured me there'd be a notable difference thereafter...

A day after the promise of a new SIM, and that my existing network connection would not disappear and that all I had to do was swap the SIM when it arrived, the network connection disappeared entirely. So, dead phone, no new SIM. This morning I went to the Three shop in Wood Green and was given a new, working SIM.

Not the best result, because of 10 hours loss of network which 'wouldn't happen'.

Let's wait and see if there's any improvement...
