This is a subsection of an image posted today on the NASA www site.
The picture was taken with a standard NIKON SLR with a 400 mm lens on 27 September 2015 from the International Space Station.

I think this was just before the LED lights came in. I wonder if it will look more white coloured in the next image like this.

The reason it is so bright on Pemberton is that I am continually failing to get the kids to turn off the lights as they leave a room.... I live in hope!

It's almost as if Parkland Walk is the border between lighter and darker isn't it.
Yes, and you can see the delineation north of Rowley Gardens where the New River cuts form Fins Park to Severn Sisters... There is a proper divide there.
No they were away at Leicester the next day. They light the pitch up a lot of the time to make the grass grow!
