Tottenham & Wood Green Friends of the Earth group is holding a launch meeting for their work on the Food Chain campaign - to get the Government to support good food, thriving farms and a healthy planet. Railway Fields meeting hut, Railway Fields off Green Lanes, Harringay (entry just north of railway bridge which crosses Green Lanes, opposite Harringay station).

There's a proposal to spend Friday foraging for wild food and prepare it for the evening. We could include some of our home-grown produce too.

June is Haringey Sustainability Month
Advance notice - June is Sustainability Month... please think what you or your group could do! Hi all - this is what the skeleton schedule for June looks like so far. Please send me details of any further events planned (we could do with another 20-30!) in that time so I can add them asap.. We'll need to discuss them at the next SH Co-ordination Meeting (Tues 20th April) and should really finalise them soon after our Gathering on 25th April in order to get the leaflets printed and delivered to volunteers all over the borough for mass distribution in mid-late May.

- Sat 5th June: Springwatch (biodiversity fair) At Ally Pally. The Council and BBC are holding a Springwatch Festival 'Wild Day Out' on Saturday 5th June in Alexandra Palace Park in Haringey. Reflecting the International Year of Biodiversity. Check out the many stalls (including Sustainable Haringey).

Tree preservation walk and talk Starts at Chestnuts Park Community Centre.

Haringey Green Fair At Ducketts Common.

National Bike Week Cycling-related events are called for everywhere!
- Sat 19th June to 4th July: Love Your Street fortnight Encouraging residents throughout London to organise events and displays in their own streets to promote the physical improvements to their local street scene, environment and homes they'd they'd like to see.. See www.lfa2010.org
