In January this year I got a letter for a hospital appointment the day before it arrived. Only when I calmed down did I notice it was for 2024.

I've had that too - after my annual review they put my next one in the calendar immediately. The first time this happened I didn't read the appointment letter too carefully... In my defence I had been recently diagnosed with an incurable brain disease
