Stone Roses Concert to Close Tube Early this Weekend
Be prepared for a little local disruption from The Stone Roses Concert in Finsbury Park this weekend.
Manor House tube will be exit only - from 10pm - on both Friday and Saturday nights. Finsbury Park station is expected to be heavily congested
From 10 to 11.30pm there will be two road closures. Seven Sisters Road will be closed between Hornsey Road & Green Lanes and Stroud Green Road between Seven Sisters Road and Morris Place. Buses will be diverted.
There will be additional parking controls on southern Ladder and Gardens roads till 8.30 pm.

Don't understand why Manor House will be closed, surely they would want it open to get people away and off home after the event?

Because it enables them to control crowds better apparently. They do it with football as well and it drives me round the twist.

However I am going - nothing better than being able to walk from your house and not have to get public transport after a gig and the weather looks great!
