Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Can anyone help with this. I have upgraded my Skype (fatal error). How on earth do I get Skype to start as I start my machine as I used to?

I have looked at some online things and they look far too complex.

It's Windows 10. Will check but I am sure I looked when I went down the rabbit hole the other day in search of a solution.

Yes Justin, Windows 10 is total sh_t, I'll see if I can find anything.

In settings on Skype it should have a checkbox to enable skype on boot up.

Yes, have tried this- when you see the list of Aps running I see Skype, when I do as the article says and go to the Start Up Tab I see all the aps that run at Start Up, but I do not see Skype, and I cannot see how I add it to this list.

Open File Explorer.
Type in the address bar: shell:AppsFolder and press Enter.
Scroll down until you find the Skype for Windows 10 app.
Right-click on the icon and select Create Shortcut. The shortcut will be created on your Desktop.
Type in the address bar of File Explorer shell:startup and press Enter.
Copy the Skype shortcut you just created from the desktop and Paste it in the opened folder.

Copied from online hope it helps

Boom! Thanks, that worked. I had not seen that one, and why there is not a simple one click solution as there used to be...

Cheers everyone!

It is so convoluted its unbelievable lol. Glad it worked mate
Could it be running minimised? There should be a little arrow next to the clock in the bottom right hand corner; if you click on this, the Skype icon might just be there.
