I think that if I were living abroad and found that my home country was shutting down newspapers and TV stations, sacking judges and teachers and stamping down on anyone and anything that dared to be critical of the government I'd get a tad hot under the collar too.
Being able to demonstrate in this country is a hard won right - think of the people killed, injured and jailed for daring to demonstate for universal sufferage for instance - and not one to be waved away because it inconveniences some people.

We should be grateful and thankfull to these people who are fighting an increasingly repressive state and have been imprisoned in their thousands by this vicious regime. These people are also fighting Islamic State on our behalf while at the same time being attacked from behind by Erdogan.
If you were being threatened with prison, censorship, violence and worse I think you may become a "tad hot under the collar."
I am happy to see them marching down Green Lanes and wish then every success.

I find the act of complaining about those with a legitimate cause to protest to be an act of aggression upon our hard won right to protest, in this country.

I suspect that there's a bit of envy here in that if a bunch of students did this to protest at steep fee increases they'd find a slightly heavier police presence.

I was thinking more that "these people" had been deemed to be aggressive because they are not English.
I've always found demonstrations on Green Lanes to be quite friendly.
