Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Haven’t seen any reviews on here (apologies if I’m just not finding them!) but I popped into Stamp (in the old Post Office building on the corner of Warham Rd, and part of the Dobar chain) for an early lunch today and thought it was excellent. Really well cooked, fresh food. Not cheap but the pleasant atmosphere, good food, genuinely tasty side salad and excellent service made it a lovely experience. Highly recommended - as long as you like eggs!

Would second this. A good addition to what is otherwise a bit of a grim junction there with the other corner units empty or filled with betting shops. Nice decor, comfy seating, and the windows can be opened on sunnier days.

Food is very tasty, though as Katie says at the pricier end of Green Lanes options, and very much focussed on brunch, so eggs eggs eggs! Service was quick and pleasant too. Definitely worth a visit, particularly if you're fond of the likes of Abraço.

Prompted by this review, I had brunch today at Stamp where the service was excellent.

I chose one of their staple dishes that "are exclusive to our brasserie" and which are served with "Stamp made waffles and a side of seasonal fruits, clotted cream and maple syrup".

My dish was called "MEDI CLASH" and consisted of 2 free range fried eggs, slices of sujuk, grilled halloumi, cherry
tomato, and portobello mushroom along with the items above.

I also ordered English breakfast tea which was served elegantly, thus:

The food was well cooked and presented although I found the combination rather peculiar.  Also a piece of bread or toast would have made a better pairing for fried eggs than half a sweet waffle.  The bill was about £20 which is probably fair for fancy food in these inflationary times.  Normally I would be happy with cheese gozleme which comes with salad and tea for about £6.  I may give Stamp a second try when two of us want a blow out.  Some customers were certainly gorging on large platefuls.
