Southwark has introduced Article 4 directions to stop the proliferation of betting stops and payday loan shops
Southwark Council uses planning powers to stop spread of high street betting shops… with immediate effect.

With the terrible problems we have on Green Lanes with betting shops this is something we should be doing in Haringey now - clearly it can be done if the council has the will.
This is something we will be continuing to press the council to do.
