Snug cafe - post-fire appeal
Surprised no-one's posted about this already but following damage caused by a fire in the rooms above, Snug Art Cafe has put up a Just Giving appeal to help them get back on their feet:

I know Ania who I admire so much for starting her beautiful cafe, originally called Passion. The quality of her menu, her coffee and overall good food and service has always been tops. I have been a BIG fan of the (now) lovely Snug Cafe and the damage that has temporarily closed Snug is a horrible by-product of that fire. Please be as generous as possible - Ania really deserves our support.

Ania is putting updates on the cafe's Facebook page. She is brilliant and committed but has had more than her fair share of terrible luck over the last couple of years. How delightful to find that Anna has reopened her cafe Snug at last. The new look is great and I had coffee there this afternoon. Soon I shall be having breakfast there again.
