On offer, a limited number of micro grants for outdoor film events that will help make this a summer like no other.
In 2012 the GLA is producing a fantastic programme of outdoor events that will stretch across the length and breadth of the capital. The centrepiece is SHOWTIME – a seven week festival taking the best British and international outdoor work to town centres, parks and squares across all 33 boroughs. As part of SHOWTIME, there is an ambition to develop a pop-up film programme for outdoor spaces around the city.
The SHOWTIME Micro Grants scheme was launched after a successful Community Cinema DIY workshop held at the BFI Southbank. The grants are for individuals or non-profit organisations to hold their own free to attend outdoor cinema events as a part of SHOWTIME (21 July 2012 – 9 September 2012).
We are initially offering 10 x £500 micro grants. Guidance notes and application form are available to download from the website

The deadline for applications is 5pm on 30 May 2012.

Firefox would not let me download app form. My computer has never done this before.

Firefox playing silly beggars, I expect. Had a similar problem on the Barbican website yesterday with Chrome. Who's to explain the weird behaviour of technology?
Both the application form and the guidance notes [pdfs] are attached to this post for you now (see below original post)
