Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Has anyone else noticed how sporadic Royal Mail deliveries have become on the Ladder since the Hornsey Sorting Office closed? (I appreciate many people are at work during the day, so I guess I'm addressing those at home during day.) Some days the post isn't delivered until nearly 5pm, some days there is no delivery at all - frustrating when (as I am right now) waiting for a specific letter to arrive.

The new "system" appears to involve a postal worker sitting in a Royal Mail van with the engine ticking over while a colleague hares up and down the road delivering the post. Then they pile into the van and are driven to the next street!

Anyone else noticed how bad it's got, or just me?

It's been fine for me.

I've just passed the postman delivering in Falkland Road. It's 6pm!

I know! But that's very unusual ime.

Maybe it's a bit patchy. We're on Warham and it seems fine; usually the same postie, about 11am.
Postie was delivering in Effingham at 7.15 this eve!

Must've been after he did our road! Bizarrely late.

Wonder if it's a postcode split. We're N4 and Effingham and Falkland are N8
I'm not on the ladder, but a recorded delivery parcel was delivered to my upstairs neighbour the other week, with no card put through my door. I had no idea it had arrived.
