We used Acorn Sash Windows, who are locally based, to repair, refurbish and fix new sash cords on our kitchen window. They did a very good job, created minimum disturbance, and provided a good customer service. They may not be the cheapest (though their prices were competitive when we used them), but they do a good job. We hope to use them again to refurbish two big sash windows in our living room.
