The date for comments to reach the Haringey Council closes on 17th August 2017 according to the Statutory Notification.

A feedback card was provided however it is a bit late to send, alternatively there is still time to email your views on the proposal to frontline.consultation@haringey.gov.uk.

If you are sending an e.mail you need to include 1/ the name of the project you are commenting on, 2/ the house number and name of the road you live on, 3/ whether you support/ object to/ or have another view, 4/ any suggestions or recommendations about the proposals.

I replied by email but the main document did not mention including anything more than reasons for any objections. i did include the street I live on, but didn't specify the full address as that wasn't listed as a requirement on the main document.

I was quoting the information which was requested on the Freepost feedback card and assuming the same was needed for the e.mail however I assume the important information is the road you live on and your views on the proposals.

I'm hoping that they have all the info they need for the response to count. I was worried I'd missed adding all the info needed, but hoping it will be ok. Great reminder that today is the last day to respond though, thank you!

Living Wightman's submission supports the removal of the pedestrian refuges. Why should the safety of cyclists take precedence over the safety of pedestrians, many of whom are disabled or parents with small children, who will have to sprint across the road on the meaningless, largely ignored and unenforceable " informal crossings " ?

Because the cyclists are taxpayers and mothers who have so many children that they can't cross the road with them all safely at once are sponging off the state.

Oh, that would be it :)

Now you can see why our politicians are so colourless, they can't get away with piercing satire like this without being quoted out of context.

Thank you very much for the reminder. Link to the original thread on this here: https://www.harringayonline.com/forum/topics/proposed-safety-and-ac...
