Ramadan
At midnight tonight the Islamic month of Ramadan begins. As well as fasting during daylight hours for those who are able to, other practices take place such as Taraweeh prayers in the evening and going into seclusion for the last ten nights.

John, the comments from BBU and Fana suggest an equally good intention from the Mosque.
Which, to me, offers a positive basis for the sort of Good Neighbour Agreement (GNA) I've been on about for while.
Although my examples have involved local residents and businesses, there's no reason why the same model couldn't apply with mosques, churches etc. With goodwill and mutual understanding there's a greater possibility of win-win solutions.
