Racist Graffiti Green Lanes
Distressingly, my daughter saw this disgusting, racist graffiti on Green Lanes today. Hope the council remove it promptly. There should be no space for hate in our community

It's the last word that turns this from a mundane statement of fact into hate speech.
Maybe a campaign of similar statements about states chosen at random, such as 'This is England, not Vanuatu', 'This is England, not Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia' and so on might drive home the pointlessness of these statements.
