Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

There appears to be official notices on lamposts on Warham Road however the print is very small and compact and they are attached at quite a height so unless I go out with a ladder and large magnifying glass I have no idea what the notices are trying to convey.

Any tall people with 20/20 vision know what is happening?

There's a photo of the notices on this thread - the attachment to the very first post

Maggie I'm with you there. No regard for us short people with poor sight, it's tough
There are two different notices up. One has a list of all the roads covered by the traffic order (the one in small type) and the other, which is on every lamppost in my street, is the specific restrictions relating to that street. That looks to be in about 30 point type of you look at the photo on the thread I've linked to, and set about 4 feet from the ground. I'm very short sighted and had no problems reading it.

Thanks Michael, it was the small typeface notice that floored me as I didn't know if it related to the the other notices and it had been placed about 6' up 'my' lampost- until I yanked it down to a more reasonable height.

Yes! The tube when busy is a problem as I have never been able to reach the 'hangers' and no chance of reading the maps, and end up with armpits at nose level, however I can squeeze into small spaces that defeat taller people.

It's true
I think it's just to make sure the signs are visible from the cars driving up the street
