Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

So the new Timetable is released and it looks like we are getting less trains rather than more from Harringay, I have taken an excerpt between 8:00 and 9:00 for example

New Time table:

08:06 - 08:16 - 08:21 - 08:25 - 08:36 - 08:46 - 08:55

The current time table:

08:05 - 08:15 - 08:21 - 08:25 - 08:31 - 08:35 - 08:46 - 08:52

As someone that endures the 08:31 train every day I am really concerned they have canceled it! I often cannot get onto the train due to over crowding and have to await the 08:35.

Does anyone know a method to complain? This is not an improvement this is a disaster waiting to happen.

Er, one has emerged from Siemens for testing - article with pictures here:

And yes, when the new trains arrive they will have much greater capacity.

But as the old song says, "It's a long long while, from May to December".

As a retired commuter, I could stand for one train less for a stated window but less trains rather than fewer rather than more for Harringay I could not tolerate.

A little related to this. I seem to remember there used to be quite a number of trains direct from Kings Cross to Harringay and vice versa (mainly outside of rush hour), Nowadays there only seems to be a few very late/early ones. Did the timetable change at some point, I don't think I'm imagining those trains.

Didn't they used to run into King's Cross when Moorgate closed, including at weekends? Now that services run in and out of Moorgate later and seven days a week, services no longer run into Kings Cross......I think. Gordon?

It changed in December 2015, and some interchange times at Finsbury Park if you still wanted to go to King's Cross on Sat/Sun were tight - as Michael Anderson wrote "Running shoes at the ready then".

Thanks, that's what I was thinking of. I just hadn't put it together with the later service from Moorgate.
