If anyone fancies getting involved it would be great to know what site people are planning to join so we can anticipate numbers for kit.
Sensible shoes would be advisable (wellies / boots) and warm clothing - possibly waterproof depending on the weather forecast.
Gloves, pickers, hoops, bags and high vis vests will be provided - as will safety info.

Just to let you know that group leaders will be still be meeting those of you who are up for the New River clean-up tomorrow at 10:30am.Since there are some showers predicted the clean-ups will most likely be shorter than anticipated - so if you're coming, please do wear your waterproofs and wrap up warm!Sarah

Where are/were you?
I came along, a bit late must admit (about 15/20 mins) but couldnt see anybody. I went into Finsbury park Rowley gardens entrance first and walked around a bit there then crossed Green Lanes and went along New River for a bit there but didn't see any high vis vests! Perhaps you had moved further down out of sight. I didn't see any signs or directions, probably should have asked exactly which place you would be and where heading. Sorry I was late and missed it.

Oh Ruth - So sorry the group leader decided to cancel the pick due to the weather.
The event was cancelled this morning elsewhere on HoL.

Aah, that's a pity it got cancelled but I didn't know about it.
I don't check HoL everyday, I thought any messages about this would come through this thread which comes through my own email. When I didn't seen one, I thought it was still on.
